This open-air convertible has a unique view of the interior when opened, so there are many things you can decorate more carefully than a hard top hatchback. Until the second generation, most of the seats imported through Mini Korea were black, and in the case of some edition models, most of the points were stitching or piping. Of course, it's a trap that I stayed in customs for 3 days, but I was going to work on it on the weekend anyway, so I was glad that it arrived before the weekend.
A genuine sheet is a black leather sheet. When the tower is opened like this, it shows a chic black color overall. But after all this time in the car.I often feel like I'm showing off a sheet that looks like it's been opened in colorfully. So we actually work on tearing and re-painting leather sheets through the company. But the price is 50 to 70 at most. However, the advantage is that I can do whatever I want from the pattern to the piping. However, we are reasonable consumers, so we try to find ready-made products and do our best to satisfy ourselves.
When I came home, I found an object in front of the door that came across the sea as if I wanted to announce a difficult journey. Fortunately, the product was delivered without damage. I'm only going to fit the first row, so I chose the first row and received a total of two sets of three pieces: headrest, backrest, and hip seat. I take out the product and check if it was delivered well without omission.
After this picture, the color of the picture is different in each picture, so I'll finally let you know the most similar picture later. Please note that it is different when reflected in the fluorescent light, different underground, and different outdoors, so the color taken in the picture is different crucially, so please keep in mind. :)
As mentioned later, the backrest and hip seats, other than the headrest cover, are divided into driver's (left) and auxiliary seats (right), which must be taken care of when fitted. The backrest seat has lumbar support adjustment dials and lever holes for backrest folding, which can be mounted immediately without confusion at the time of installation, but the hips seat may be fitted by swapping left and right if not looking closely. The difference is even subtle, so you can change it and ride it without knowing it, so make sure to look at the back story!
The headrest part is a bit wrinkled, but I'm just going to live with it and pretend I didn't see it. I don't have to look at the back of my head, so I'll be fine.
Mini Cooper has airbags on the side of the seat. So, to minimize the problem with the sheet cover, the space is open like the picture above, and the velcro tape is attached in between. In case of an emergency, the airbag explodes under strong pressure, which minimizes the possibility of a problem when the airbag explodes and deploys.
Now, let's put it on. I'm gonna put it on the headrest first. On my way home, I took off my headrest and brought it to my room.
I just brought the seat belt holder with me when I took off the headrest. That seat belt holder is of very poor quality and has joints, which are supposed to be folded, so it often breaks off as it folds, so I pierced a hole and fixed it with a cable tie. Roadsters don't have interior walls, so seat belts start from the bottom. It's hard to say.
Usually, I pull the seat belt diagonally from above my shoulder, but the roadster has no wall above my shoulder, so I have to pull the belt from below my shoulder, which puts pressure on my shoulders and neck. So through that ring, it gives space to the shoulder and seat belt starting point, which reduces shoulder and neck strain. If you're a roadster, please consider it. I don't like the durability.
The headrest cover is simply finished by zipping the lid open and locking the headrest again. The two aren't exactly the same as sewing with human hands, but they don't stand out much.
If you look at the inside of the sheet, it looks like this. You know the doorbell that says, "Don't let in cold wind in the winter?" That's how it feels. Should I say it's a bit more steamed? Would it be okay if I cover the mini-cooper without a ventilation sheet with a sheet cover like this? :(

This metal ring is attached to the front of the hip seat. I'm gonna put this ring underneath the sheet and hang it in the right place on the bottom of the sheet. I'll show you where and how to hang it from behind.
This plastic ring is used to secure the seat from the back by pushing it inside the backrest seat and hip seat. I'll tell you how to fit this friend comfortably later.
Shall we go down to the parking lot with the rest of the backrest cover and hip seat cover? The work will begin in earnest. It's possible with bare hands, but if it's possible, I'll prepare a credit card that I can't use without thin work gloves and Herana, a work tool, and bring it down together. Oh, and if you've ever had a D.I.Y., if you have any noise proof tape, please work on it in advance. Let's take a look at the picture below.
The picture above shows the hole where the lumbar support lever comes out, and it is finished with a metal clip as shown in the picture above. The outside is smooth, so there may be no big problem, but if you apply noise proof tape over there just in case, you can avoid scratches that can occur when you use it or when you remove it again later. It's the same on the folding part of the chair behind the backrest cover, so please check. The bottom is a complete picture, but this part has the same metal, so it was taped and taped again on the plastic on the body to prevent scratches.

As mentioned above, the driver's (left) seat and the passenger's (right) seat are different. The backrest seat has a lever position hole that can accurately distinguish left and right. The left seat will be the driver's seat and the right seat will be the passenger seat as you can see on the lion's face. How to tell the difference between hip sheets.
The thickness of the left and right seats is different from the side of the hip seat. If you look at the picture above, there is a wide side and a narrow side. The wide side will be inside the car and the narrow side will be outside the car. When you look at the sheet from the sky, the inside of the gear rod is covered, and the outside of the door is narrower because of the plastic trim. You'll understand if you look at the photos below that are completely mounted.
As shown in the picture above, there is a plastic trim next to the sheet, so you need to move the narrower side outward. The inside of the gearbar is a bit wider because it's covered without plastic trim. If you see it in person, you can tell the difference. However, even if the left and right sides change, there is no big difference, so you may not notice. Sometimes, you can just put that part of the picture above in the mounted picture. ㅠ_ㅠ We've shown you the installation photos briefly, but now we're going to install them step by step. It doesn't matter if you put the seat on your hips first or the seat back first. I did the backrest first on one side and the hips first, but personally, it was easier to organize the straps by doing the hip sheet first. Please refer to it. :)
Since it's our first time, let's start with seats for passengers with large spaces. When you put the backrest in, it's stiffer than you think, so you may feel that it doesn't go in well. Actually, it fits perfectly and there's a bit of room. But the reason why I feel that way is because I have to go through the protruding area that supports my side. When I pass by, I press down on the sheet and when I go down step by step, I feel like I'm going down. After this part, you can do the rest very easily!
Turn the plastic fixation part of the headrest and make it neat. It might be hard to put the part that you can see far away in the picture. If you take out the low-pressing lever first and push it out, it's easy to handle.
I couldn't take it in the picture, but the lumbar support adjustment dial on the other side is also prepared as shown in the picture above by aligning the cover well with the hole and lowering it down. You have to push the rubber band and round plastic between the backrest seat and the hip seat.
There's an iron ring behind the backrest. Put it down and hang it on the bottom of the sheet. Before hanging it like this, it's better to install the hip seat and do it all at once.
You can do it freely in order, but the left and right mounting methods are the same, so look at the picture below.
The hip sheet is not difficult to put on, and it's over. Push it in as hard as you can.
Then you'll see 2 rings from the backrest and 2 rings from the hip seat. Push the round plastic into the gap as much as possible, grab it from behind, and turn it 90 degrees to fix it.
You can see the round plastic ring behind the sheet. Don't miss it and turn it 90 degrees to fix it with a rubber band tension. After working on a total of 4 rings, it will look side by side like below.
Now it's time to fix the iron ring to the bottom of the seat. If you look at the back of the seat, you can hang it right here, and there's a piece of steel that runs horizontally. You can hang it appropriately there. The key is the hip seat. To work here, you'll have to lie face down on your hipsheet and put your face on the floor
If you look down, there's a round hole like that near the seat rail. It's on both sides, so you can tell by looking at it. That's the best place to hang it over there. If you hang a hook when you move the seat along the rail, you can get interrupted, so you can hang it so that it moves like one body with the seat. And in fact, there's no place to hang a hook other than the one above. I'm not gonna miss it.
Now put the outer part of the seat into the plastic trim. If you have Hera, you can do it comfortably, if you use a credit card that you can't use without, or if you do it gently with your hands, it's enough. This is the moment when you have to distinguish the left and right sides of the hip seat. If the left and right sides change, the leather that you're going to put in will be very long. You can force it in, but it will shorten the inside of the gearbar so you won't be able to cover it enough (some of you may not know if you change it because it's too obvious inside).
Now, all the installations are finished. It took some time to assemble the first sheet, but the second one was really quick. If you have the hang of it, you can complete it in half an hour on both sides. :)
It's not leather that's sewed directly on the sheet, so there's no choice but to leave a little space on the back of the sheet. But as time goes by, I'll find my place little by little.

There are mini and union jack shield details in the size, and the union jack details add sensibility on the back.
The color looks different in each picture, but it's a bit redder and has a lower saturation than the picture above. It looks very bright in the picture above.
